Van Buskirk Elementary School

At Van Buskirk, we provide an enriched learning experience through our Dual Language and Opening Minds Through the Arts (OMA) programs, so students may develop their abilities and prepare to have successful, productive futures, in which they thrive and contribute to the community.

We focus on providing excellent instruction at every grade level along with support in social-emotional learning. We believe that a strong foundation in reading positively impacts learning across the curriculum.

Van Buskirk is dedicated to student growth and mastery of state standards, as well as the development of life skills and social responsibility. We promote an atmosphere of respect that celebrates diversity.

We have been recognized as a 'B' school by the Arizona Department of Education.
