About Our School

The staff at Van Buskirk Elementary School, in partnership with families and the community, is dedicated to student mastery of the Arizona College and Career Readiness Standards, as well as the development of life skills and social responsibility. We measure academic progress through regular curriculum-aligned classroom assessments and district benchmark tests each quarter. Van Buskirk provides effective interventions and enrichment opportunities to support the individual needs of each student in an atmosphere of mutual respect that celebrates diversity.
